Action Required: 700 bar heavy-duty and API v1.1

Version 1.7.0 (17 June 2026) brought the 700 bar heavy-duty fuelling option and API v1.1 (export and import) to production. Existing integrations on API v1 keep working unchanged, so nothing breaks. Some changes, though, need action from you to keep your data accurate or to receive the new data.

What you need to do depends on your role.

Role Action needed?
Operators Required if your station offers 700 bar heavy-duty refuelling
Signal originators Required if any station you report on offers 700 bar heavy-duty
Data users Recommended: move to v1.1 to receive the new option and AFIR data

Operators

Required if you offer 700 bar heavy-duty refuelling.

  1. Open your station in the operator portal and edit its fuelling options.
  2. Add the 700 bar heavy-duty option and save.
  3. Tell your signal originator so they begin reporting it (see below).

Until the option is added, it is not monitored and does not appear on the public map for your station.

Signal originators

Required if any station you report on offers 700 bar heavy-duty.

  1. Move your integration to import API v1.1 (see For Signal Originators).
  2. Adopt the light-duty / heavy-duty identifiers: 700ld, 350ld, 700hd, 350hd.
  3. Include the 700 bar heavy-duty option (700hd) in every signal for heavy-duty stations. If it is omitted, that option is shown as UNKNOWN.
  4. Use GET /import/v1.1/active-stations to confirm which stations your token covers and which are live.

API v1 keeps working and is deprecated, but it cannot carry the heavy-duty option. Send signals on v1.1 to report it.

Data users

Recommended. API v1 keeps working unchanged, so existing integrations need no immediate change.

Move to export API v1.1 (see For Data Users) to:

  1. Receive the 700 bar heavy-duty option and the light-duty / heavy-duty identifiers (700ld, 350ld, 700hd, 350hd).
  2. Get the complete AFIR static dataset on GET /hrs.
  3. Resolve vehicle category codes with the new GET /vehicle-type endpoint.

You can integrate end to end first with the sandbox, no account needed. On v1 you will not see the heavy-duty option or the new AFIR fields.
