For Operators¶
Overview¶
An HRS operator is an organisation that owns or manages one or more hydrogen refuelling stations. The H2-Stations Portal gives operators a dedicated environment to maintain accurate station records, coordinate availability reporting, and meet data obligations under the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR).
Operators are the primary stewards of station data on the platform. The information you manage in the portal is reflected on the public H2-Stations Map and made available to data consumers across Europe.
Getting Started¶
Access to the portal is provided by the H2-Stations team. To request an account, contact h2-stations@clean-hydrogen.europa.eu.
Once your account is set up, you can log in at portal.h2-stations.eu.
What You Can Do¶
Manage Station Data¶
Keep your station records up to date. This includes core information such as address and location, fuelling options, opening hours, and contact details. Accurate data ensures drivers and data users see correct information on the map and in downstream systems.
For a full list of what is recorded for each station, see Station Data Reference.
Publish Stations to the Map¶
A station is only visible on the public H2-Stations Map when two conditions are both met:
- Draft mode is off. New stations start in draft mode. You must explicitly remove the draft flag to allow the station to be published.
- Operational status is set to In Public Operation. The station must be marked as publicly operational. Stations with any other status (planned, private operation, discontinued) are not shown on the public map.
Both settings are available on the station detail page in the portal. Once both conditions are met, the station will appear on the map.
Manage Signal Originator Integrations¶
Signal originators are the systems that submit real-time availability data for your stations. Through the portal you can see which signal originators are connected to each of your stations, approve new integrations, and remove access when it is no longer needed.
Schedule Events¶
Plan ahead for maintenance windows, temporary closures, or other events that affect availability. Scheduled events are taken into account when computing station status, so that planned downtime is shown correctly rather than appearing as an unexpected outage.
View Availability History and Generate Reports¶
Review the historical availability record for each of your stations. The portal provides charts and summary statistics, and allows you to export reports for use in internal processes or regulatory submissions.
