This is a major update introducing new features and a number of improvements across the portal.

EU Regulation: AFIR data fields now supported

To comply with the AFIR (Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation), station entries can now record the full set of required information — including vehicle types accepted, parking details, business and legal names, site amenities, directions to the location, vehicle specifications, payment methods, and the NUTS1 region. All AFIR fields are marked with an EU flag in the portal so they are easy to identify. The station detail page displays all of this information in full.

Notifications

A new notification system is available for logged-in users. These may be informational, warnings, or alerts.

The legal notice, privacy policy, and related public pages have been updated and are now accessible from their own dedicated pages, making them easier to find and read.

Map improvements

The availability map now loads more quickly. When you click on a station, its name now appears immediately while the rest of the details load in the background, improving the response time and reducing the data usage when browsing the map.

Domains

The existing h2-map.eu and h2map.eu remain operational.
