Version 1.10.0¶
This release gives every public station a page of its own and makes the station data readable for AI assistants. It also brings contact details and time zones to the data API and accepts more opening-hours formats. Your account, your stations and your existing data are unchanged, and integrations already sending or reading data keep working as before.
A page for every station¶
Each public station now has its own page on the map site, in English and German. It shows the status of each fuelling option with its last update, today's opening hours with the full week underneath, upcoming maintenance and restrictions, refuelling requirements and contact details. Address and coordinates can be copied in one step, and a side column lists the public stations within 30 km with their current status.
The pages load without JavaScript, so they work on slow connections and can be shared as plain links. AI assistants can read them as well, so drivers who ask an assistant about your station get current data.
Better links to the map¶
A link can now open the map on any place, not only on a station, for example ?lat=53.55&lon=10.00&zoom=12. The map pages of the older addresses h2-map.eu and h2map.eu now forward to map.h2-stations.eu and keep their station links working.
Open station data for machines¶
The map site publishes a short snapshot of the public stations at /stations.json, with their location and the status of each fuelling option. A guide at /llms.txt tells AI assistants how to read and cite it.
More opening-hours formats¶
Opening hours that run past midnight (Mo-Fr 22:00-02:00), open-ended hours (08:00+) and comments can now be saved. The portal already accepted them while typing, but saving the station failed. The station status now follows these hours correctly.
Supported protocols on the station layout tab¶
Each nozzle card on the Station layout tab now lists the fuelling protocols the nozzle supports. Expanding the list shows the details per protocol, such as the standard edition, control methods, pre-cooling and the vehicle tank categories it serves. The list is read-only for now, and editing follows in the next release.
The 700 bar truck count¶
The number of 700 bar truck dispensers now counts as AFIR data, like the other three dispenser counts. A station with this field empty moves from AFIR aligned back to Publishable until a value is entered. If your station has no 700 bar truck dispensers, enter 0. Publication of your station is not affected.
More from the data API¶
- Versions 1.1 and 2 now return each station's contact email address, website and time zone. The time zone tells you in which local time the opening hours apply.
- Version 2 status responses now include the status per fuel type and the station's ongoing events. You can request only the parts you need, and unchanged data answers without sending the payload again.
- Station photos in version 2 can be cached, and a thumbnail is available.
- The API documentation now marks every field that can be empty. Responses are unchanged.
Fixes¶
- The small info buttons on the map and in the portal now open in Safari on macOS.
- The map keeps working when a station is removed from the data.
Behind the scenes¶
The platform now runs on a new base image, map tiles stay cached between updates, and statistics for large signal sources load faster. There is no visible change for users from any of this.
